Kooperative Fjället

We are an association that runs leisure activities for young people aged 10 to 20 in Rannebergen.

Who are we?

Kooperative Fjället is a non-profit association that runs two types of youth centers for young people aged 10 - 12 and 13-20 in Rannebergen, Angered. It was founded in 1992 on the initiative of young people in the area. The association's highest decision-making body is today a board consisting of young people. We have an IOP, idea-based public partnership, with Socialförvaltning Nordost, City of Gothenburg, which pays for our activities.

Our Idea

Kooperative Fjället´ s open youth activities are conducted as a learning process based on young people's participation and influence. This means that we take advantage of young people's ideas, experiences, skills and interests so that it awakens their desire for commitment and responsibility. We want young people to be involved in creating their own free time as much as possible. In this way, they build their skills and learn things together, becoming part of their lives.
