October in Sweden: Halloween, Friends and Events - Francesco

15.12.2025

Hey everyone!October has been a really active month here in Sweden. We had several events at Fjället, and I spent a lot of time preparing for Halloween. I ended up collecting recycled materials and making props, which was surprisingly fun. Most of the activities I organized were for Mini-Fjället, so I really focused on them this month.
One of the main events was a Murder Mystery activity. The kids became detectives trying to solve a case, and in the end I turned out to be the "killer." Dressing up and acting the character was a lot of fun.
Then we had the Mini-Fjället Disco, where I dressed up as a bloody ghost. I was scaring the kids in the woods and then dancing with them — a very funny combination. We also had a trip to Angered Arena for swimming. It was chaotic, but I enjoyed taking care of the group and making sure everyone was safe.
These activities really helped me bond with the younger kids, even without speaking English. We found our own ways to communicate, and the language barrier started to feel much smaller.
Another big highlight was taking part in the Scream Tunnel event at Atom Studios. I dressed up as "Zombie Zorro" and guided teens through the experience. It was great teamwork with my colleagues, and we received a lot of positive feedback.
To end the month on a happy note, some friends from the On Arrival training in Stockholm came to visit. We spent time together, went to Liseberg, and attended a few parties. It was really nice to reconnect and share moments together.
Overall, October was full of activities, costumes, laughs, and friendship.I'm grateful for everything that happened this month.
