March in Sweden: Italian Night, Eid-fest, Teamwork

22.04.2026

March was a month full of celebrations, special days dedicated to eating together, playing new games and just having fun.
The most personal activity for me was indeed Italian night! On a random Saturday fjället became Napoli for a night! We danced to traditional Italian music, learned dance choreography from the most skilled Italian dancer in Rannebergen: me!
The cherry on top was teaching the kids how to make "Gnocchi alla Sorrentina", a traditional dish from my hometown. You can find a Tiktok on fjället TikTok's about the whole night!
Then we celebrated the end of Ramadan! We met up at Rannebergen's school and with the help of all the staff held a celebration for the whole community of Rannebergen.
I was personally in charge of decoration and the Inflatable Castle where kids could jump and slide. Everyone did their best in this very big event and I really felt an amazing sense of teamwork from my colleagues and kids also who came as volunteers to help.
The days are getting longer and the weather is getting better, can't wait to experience outdoor activities with fjället during spring 🌼.
