April in Sweden: Mid-Term week, Stockholm, travelling - Francesco
April was a very busy month, I've been travelling across Sweden for many activities and meeting people I met on the on arrival training in September 2025.
The week I spent in Stockholm was unforgettable, as not only I was able to reunite with all the friends I made along this journey who are also volunteers like me, but also my family decided to visit me in Stockholm at the same time!
The mid-term programme was actually the most boring party of the whole experience, as our group found Bromma's school hosting us in an unprepared way, not really having us do anything meaningful. Fortunately company was what mattered the most, at least for me!
We were also so lucky because during that week it was Stockholm cultural night, allowing everyone to visit museums for free! We spent the whole Friday night in queues mostly, but it was so fun to do so many things for free! Visiting museums like the Abba museum, the Avicii experience and even the Royal History Museum were all on our to do list!
It was a constant joy travelling left and right to meet my family, my friends and sometimes both doing things together!
In fjället most of the activities that regarded me were preparing for May's important things to do on my to-do list: Finishing up my handmade boardgame and finding new volunteers for the end of 2026 until August 2027!
